Cloud Application Studio 2308 Installation

Hey,
is it necessary to subscribe to visual studio and pay for it, just to work with SAP Cloud Application Studio (Pilot)?
I want to install it, but I only get forwarded to a Visual Studio Subscription Page.

You can download all Microsoft pre-requisites for free.

Yes, Its a prerequisite for the latest installer.

Please do refer to the documentation for more details.

Also ensure that Your S-user ID must have Software Download authorization. Use the self-service request if needed (see KBA 2891528)

This is wrong. You do NOT need a Visual Studio Subscription to install and use SAP Cloud Application Studio. You can download the pre-requisites for free.

Your link is also wrong because 23.08 does not have a VS2010 version anymore. The VS2015 based version is mandatory now.
