Hi all,
I started a Local Client Copy (Test Run) 16 hours back and its still showing the status as EXECUTING...
It has struck while editing the table: BC325V00
Stastics of the run as shown below:
- No. of Tables 4948 of 52257
- Copied Lines 597639
In the alert log file, i found the following info..
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 8887
ORA-44003: invalid SQL name.
Every time i schedule a client copy its getting struck at 4948 and at the table "BC325V00".
i have seen a relevant thread: , but couldnt get help.
Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Subbu
What Oracle version are you running?
There is a known problem with the space advisor:

Hi Anuj,
As per the requirement of the client we need to copy from 000 only...
All the users are locked in 000 except SAP* and DDIC.
I suppose SAP only recommends but doesnt say abt. client copy struck right,,,,even when i tried copying from 001 i got struck in the same position?
Could you please guess whats going wrong?
Regards,
Subbu.
> dear why are you coping 000
> you should go with 001
> sap recommend it
This is not generally true, it depends on the application.
Client 000 is the default client where all customizing corrections are applied that are not imported using CTC. That means, that if you install a new system and install the latest support packages and then copy 001 you may not get all default customizing. This may or may not be critical depending on what application you run.

I would say: read the documentation
A PI 7.1 system needs the customizing from 000 but the users from 001 (otherwise you need to create the users manually in the new client), a plain CRM can use both clients (000 and 001), a Solution Manager was copied from 000 in earlier versions, now 001 is used for customzing AND users etc.
There is no general advised possible and in the example of SolMan one can see, that even during the lifetime of the same product things change... (unfortunately).

Hi Markus,
May I ask you: Which documentation?
The SAP documentation is quite inconsistent regarding the PI 7.1 post-installation steps.
Moreover, I have not been able to find any documentation that explains what you mentioned, i.e. that "PI 7.1 system needs the customizing from 000 but the users from 001", nor how to go about satisfying this need during the post-install steps.
I would really appreciate if you could find time to comment on my question on the PI thread:

Mark Wiegand
