can you use a CAL S4HANA with SAP BTC?

hello SAP,

please check below enquiry

We want to try out the SAP BTC(Business transformation center) on cloud alm 

for this as source system , we will  use the on prem ECC EHP8 

and as target S4 HANA system , we will use the converted ECC EHP8 system 

 if we use an CAL apppliance e.g. hosted on MS-Azure, will this setup work?
