can crystal reports connect to an ftp site for a database source?

I am tyring to connect crystal reports to a database file on a ftp server. is that possible? it would be conecting to a .csv file.

Crystal Reports requires a Data source Client to be used.

Create a ODBC DSN to the CSV file, then Crystal should be able to connect to it, assuming you have permissions to access the PC where the file exists.

Or use the Native client, expand the Data sources and see if CSV is listed and use it.

Still requires permission to access the FTP server.
