Current Environment:
We have provisioned the following CAL appliances on AWS Linux
We are trying to connect to SAP IDES from SAP HANA Platform via Remote source. Following actions have been taken. Result is that the SAP IDES is not reachable from HANA Platform via the Remote source
Issue:
Unable to connect to SAP IDES sitting on ASE from HANA Platform via studio. We have been trying out various options, but its still not working, it gives me the following error message.
SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: [SAP][ASE ODBC Driver]Connection to the server has been lost. Connection died while reading from socket. ERRNO returned 0. Check the server to determine the status of any open transactions.
Blanked out the server details below
Looking forward to a resolution on this issue. Thank You.

Request clarification before answering.
The connection looks to be lost due to possible network, firewall, or configuration issues.
Ensure the HANA Platform can reach the SAP IDES server by pinging it. If it fails, resolve the network issue and check if the firewall settings on both servers are not blocking necessary communication ports.
Also, verify the ODBC configuration on the HANA Platform server, including server name, port number, and login credentials. Check if the ASE server is running and can accept new connections. Ensure the JDBC driver used by HANA is compatible with the ASE server version. Update if necessary and check, if there are any known issues or solutions related to your scenario.
