Business Process Model Connector (BPMC) Sync Solman 7.2 >>Signavio

Hello Experts,

I am trying to synchronize SAP Solution Manager 7.2 with SAP Signavio. As a baseline, I wanted to import all process steps and associated objects, such as T-codes and Fiori applications from Solution Documentation into Signavio to streamline the modeling process. The process steps and documentation are synchronized, but the objects attached to the process steps do not seem to be copied.

Is it true that the objects do not get copied during the synchronization process? Could someone share their experience or provide insights on this?

Thank you.

Dear zabdain,

The Solman Connector (Business Process Model Connector) enables the import of initial folder structures, processes, and process step references/originals to Signavio. Attributes for processes and process step references/originals can also be mapped (see SAP help: https://help.sap.com/docs/signavio-process-transformation-suite/business-process-model-connector/map...). However, there are limitations regarding the types of fields supported for mapping. An upcoming update, expected in its initial version by the end of 2024 (see external Roadmap: https://roadmaps.sap.com/board?PRODUCT=F71E8E8587BC1EEE9FB5474ED9D6152D&q=business%2520process%2520m...), will allow synchronization of executables, with further enhancements anticipated in 2025 (not yet visible on public roadmap). As of now, this feature is not available. All other attachments, such as documents, test steps, etc., remain exclusively managed in SolMan and are not transferred to Signavio.

BR Nick
