'Bad Certificate' error when integrating SAP DMC to OPC UA simulator via production connector

We are trying to integrate SAP DMC to Integration Objects OPC UA server simulator via Production Connector. But while trying to deploy the tags, it throws an error that the certificate is bad. Initially, we were using plant connectivity and a different OPC simulator(Matrikon), now we recently shifted to Production Connector and were trying to check if the tags were fetched using an alternative OPC simulator. Can anyone help me identify what configuration changes are needed in the OPC UA simulator settings or the DMC? Attaching the screenshot of both configurations.

This is the error that we are getting in the logs.

Hi Rohith,

It seems the OPC UA certificate is not in the trust store , Open Control center and check the "trusted certificates" tab , if OPC UA system certificate is present  there .

Check certificate store folder navigating to C:\ProgramData\SAP\ProdCon\CertificateStores ( installation dir) and check inside RejectedCertifcates folder, if you find one ,

a. Install the certificate in local machine - double click on cert and install inside trust store folder of windows certificate store .

b. Move installed certificate from Rejectedcertificates folder and copy to the TrustedCertificates folder .

Hope this helps

Thanks

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for the information. As mentioned I tried installing the certificate in the local system and then moving it to the trusted certificate folder. But we are still getting the same error as before.

Hi Rohith ,

Place the installed certificate also inside C:\ProgramData\SAP\ProdCon\CertificateStores\UA Applications\certs and try restarting the agent.

If problem still persists, open SAP incident for further support.

Thanks

Rahul
