Automated Introscope Agent setup on AIX (J9 mode)

Hello,

Does anyone have this working on Solman 7.1? I'm trying to go through managed system configuration on the solution manager system itself and it keeps resetting the parameters to a non-J9 mode, which prevents server0 from starting. Note 1015184 references an "AIX specific settings" button, but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

If anyone knows where it is hidden, please share.

Hi,

yes, we have done almost all scenaios in Solman 7.1 with AIX.

It was worked fine before, or you are not able to start the server after the installation.

Did you applied all the notes provided in the installtion guide under service.sap.com/instguides -> sap components-> solution manager ->release 7.1-> installation guides

No, this is the initial setup of Diagnostics.

Hi,

I have just the same problem. The AIX button does not exist since the 7.0 EPH1. But it worked properly under 7.01 also without this check button. Under 7.1 I can only do the manuel setup for the wily Agents (see the note you mentioned above). I have made a call by OSS concerning this problem. May be I get a solution.
