Authorizations in CV02N tcode

Hi SAP experts

i am stuck with some authorizations and i need some help, i am not sure even if this can be done with limiting authorizations, here is the question:

How can I restrict users from entering values of characteristic in classification? I have created charateristic groups and would like to limit users only to certain groups for which they can enter characteristic values. I have maintaned authorization group in charateristics and assigning it to authorization object C_CABN_GRP but no luck. User can still enter values in all characteristics.

The issue you're experiencing might be due to the fact that the authorization object C_CABN_GRP only restricts the ability to maintain (create, change, delete) characteristics and characteristic values, but it does not restrict the ability to assign values to characteristics in a classification.
