I defined Alert category in ALRTCATDF but Iam not able to see the Same Alert Category in Alertconfiguration.

Are you able to define the alert category using the ALTCATDEF t-code?

If it is defined properly, you would be able to find in the RWB.

What about the CACHE? I am not able to remember it clearly whether alerts can be seen in SXI_CACHE.....if yes then is your alert category visible there?
