we have been facing the same issue, ABAP web dynpro iview rednering error in Portal content area, would you able to provide your fix details. and Launch in New Window - Display in separate headerless portal window (standards mode) is working. Thanks
Hi Krishna
I am not completely clear what is the rendering mode required for your application ? Does it requires Standards mode or does it requires quirks mode ? Carry the test in KBA # 2424773 and update me.
What is the FWP you are using and what is the value set in the property Browser Document mode in the Browser Document Mode Iview ?

Hi Krishna
As per the issue description it seems that you are facing the rendering issue seen only in IE 11 and not in Chrome or other browser's.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Can you refer to the below KBA and perform the small test given under the cause section of it.
2424773 - Display and Rendering issue in IE 11 in Portal
If the behavior you are experiencing is same as given in the cause section, then you have to follow one of the two recommendation given in the resolution part of it.

Hi Samanta,
Thanks for your reply, yes its work fine in chrome or firefox, but the issue with IE11 only, can't render to content of detailed navigation area
I've tried AFP and experiencing the same issue as it required standard mode and application uses quirks as option1, and doesn’t help
I’ve also tried FW’s Doc Browser Mode iveiw property set to IE=Edge, but it affecting on other content of page tht font size going smaller for all the roles and detailed nav links etc..
option2 doesn’t help as business required to page in detailed navigation area and that is mandatory. and display separate window is not an option
Thanks
Krishna
