CIF material integration model per single plant or cross-plants

Dear all,

In discussions regarding setup of CIF for material master, there are different opinions about single plant integration models or cross-plant integration model. Say 10 plant-locations and 100,000 materials in all locations.

Either

• one (1) integration model containing all materials and all 10 plants, or
• ten (10) different models, per each individual plant

Which is preferrable for runtime performance and monitoring capability?

For performance, any dependency on selection block size, transaction

S_AX7_68000190, for now T_MAT is set to 1024, T_MARC and T_MARD to 10000.

Is there community consensus on which to use? Pros & cons?
