How to maintain business partner in EWM?

2796607 - Inbound queue in EWM in Sysfail status: No BP found for ERP Partner &1 (role: &2)

System Response

The system could not find a configuration for the ERP partner.

Procedure

Create the partner integratively, meaning in ERP and the EWM system.

Here, check the following:

- The partner in transaction Business Partner

- The Partner mapping in the ERP integration

Cause

Issue is caused due to missing Identification role for the business partner (BP) in EWM.

Resolution

In order to process the stuck queues and create the deliveries in EWM, the required roles need to be maintained for the BP in table BUT0ID (with the relevant role, that might be either CRM002 or CRM004 based on the partner's role in the delivery and the delivery type).

In SPRO customizing, the BP role can be maintained under path:
•Cross-Application Components
◾SAP Business Partner
◾Business Partner
◾Basic Settings
◾Identification Numbers
◾Define Identification Categories

Once the roles are maintained for the BP, the queue will be processed and delivery will be created in EWM system.
