Hey All
can segregation of value of material be achieved in same PO by account assignment category?
for example
if a company is raising a PO in which some percentage of material they are procuring is to be used for own resources project like maintainence and improving the system etc and other percentage of material will be used for consumer financed project whose payment they will recieve from consumers as per the PO rate.
Now the problem is the company wants to have specific/standard price for the consumer financed works so that when the material is issued it should match the price we get on that PO and aggregate value for own resources works
so is that achievable through account assignment categories? if not then what is the solution in your suggestion please

Hello @Sermad
You can use Project Stock special stock to manage your own resources projects and consumer financed project separately.
Alternatively Split Valuation can be used to split your inventory into two segments: one for your own projects, the other for consumer financed ones. Also see Split Valuation in Inventory Management
