DSN - Third Party PO

Does anyone know whether DSN support 3rd Party PO (Item Category is S)?

Hi

DSN is based on Ariba Network. Ariba Network needs to support Purchase Orders created in different ERP systems, not only SAP but other ERPs like JDE or PeopleSoft. In other ERPs there is no concept of item category = S, which is why Ariba Network (and DSN) does not really care about your item category.

As long as PO is following business process of a regular material or service PO, you should be fine.

Third Party PO could work just like a standard material PO.

However, I have not tested it myself - so I recommend to test it in your internal environment first.

Hi Prem,

I understand it. In the PO, I wonder whether the Delivery To address will be the customer address instead of plan address.

I will test it out and see whether it works fine.
