Commodity code XXXX does not exist in the country DE

Dear Gurus

I have created commodity code for Country India, When we assign Commodity code then system shows "Commodity code XXXX does not exist in the country DE".

Error Message Shows

Please help me on this

unfortunately your screenshot does not show the plant for which you maintain the commodity code. (it looks anyway like a totally customized material master as those fields are not in the place where they usually appear)

And based on that we would need to see then a screenshot from your plant customizing to validate what country is entered to this plant.

Dear Simin,

Either you can maintain these entries for DE (which is not a proper solution - coz each time for a new entry you will have to maintain for DE also)

Another solution:

Please check the transaction code OMT0 (General Control Indicators)

Here the field Standard Country (Retail) will be maintained as DE

If is fine with you to change it to IN then please do so. The entries are posted to table : T130S , field : LAND1

This should solve the issue.
