SVT with ZAU_AICS legislation with Calender Year (monitoring period) 01.09.2018 to 31.08.2019

HI All,

We want to set up the SVT monitoring period from 01.09.2018 to 31.08.2019 which is the monitoring year for Austrailian legislation NICNAS. This is set up for Import Scenario tracking and blocking purchase orders.

So purchase order created on say 1st Aug 2018 - should not be considered for volume monitoring for the period 01.09.2018 to 31.08.2019. the Volume monitoring limits should be reset at 1st Sept.

We have set up the Specify Monitoring period as in the screenshots attached & Aslos setup example Purchase orders.

However if you see Now check CBRC20 – last entry for 2018 is determined on 12.03.2018 & total 2018 volume is 43.7 KG. Which should NOT be considered for monitoring period 01.09.2018 to 31.08.2019

BUT when I Try creating a new purchase order with Qty = 100KG (tracked substance is 17.5% composition of the material so 17.5 KG of tracked substance) - with a Delivery date in Dec 2018 I am getting tracked volume as 61.2 Kg (=43.7+17.5KG)

Now if I change the Delivery Date to say Feb 2019 - I get an error with tracked volume as 112.0 KG (=94.5+17.5 KG) - So now it considers the Volume for Monitoring Period 2019

In reality, I should have been able to order almost 540 KGs of Material (i.e. 0.175 * 540 = 94.5 KG of the component) to be delivered in Dec 2018.

can anyone help if we can solve this issue with changing the monitoring period ? or the Monitoring period CAN'T be spread between two years i.e. 2018 and 2019?

Hello

you should start an OSS Dialog for this topic to be on the "safe side" (is a solution using SAP standard possible?. We have never investigated how the period is really supported and if the "Period" can be used to solve the AU Demand; But because of the fact that the regulation in AU seems to get "more strict".. we need to investigate as well (either this year at least next year)

Hello

please check answerr of Neeraj. According to discussions with SAP regarding similar challenges:: even using this option (of the period): I believe you will not get a solution and you must still "adapt" SVT logic. For this specific demand i believe you should get help from SAP to get a solution (which is not part of SAP SVT standard)

Hi Gaurish,

Have you also set the "Period" flag in the the IMG activity Specify scenarios for this regulation?
