We are upgrading GTS 10.1 to GTS 11.0 for one of our client. We are migrating from TREX search on 10.1 to SPL HANA search on 11.0
However we are noticing one issue in HANA algorithm. HANA is not blocking a three worded BP (e.g. Agency Defense Development) against single worded SPL (e.g. Defense) however it was blocking in TREX since SPL was the base value. With the HANA algorithm, BP is the base value and the scenario is not working any more. If we reduce the minimum score, it will increase the number of hits. There is no way in HANA to make SPL as base value so that we can have similar hits as on TREX.
One of the solutions we are exploring is to move single worded SPL to a Z legal regulation which will run on classic search. However, two worded SPL will have issues against 5 worded BP and so on.Please let us know if anyone has faced this kind of an issue and what can be a possible solution to ensure the number of hits are the same as on TREX search
