Use of External Operation Control Key and Outline Agreements

We have control key PM02 defined in our system as we are looking to implement SAP PM.

What is the minimum required in a General Task List under  External Processing Operation  under Procurement Options to Have a Purchase Requisition created when a Preventative maintenance Order is Released?

The users send much of their Calibration Inspection off-site where it is inspected and then returned with an Inspection Report

When do you need Outline agreement info defined in this section?

Currently POs are generated outside of SAP for the vendor.

Hi Tim,

For externally processed operation, you need to have Vendor/Cost element/Purchasing group/Purchasing organization/Price/Quantity/Unit etc are minimum required field.

Talking about Outline agreements & services, you can create a service master record, agreements for a vendor & can use them for external operations using control key PM03. To have a detailed understanding on this, request you to go through below link.
