Hi Experts,

In SAP Group Reporting 1909 we have Company as a Consolidation Unit. But what if the scenario where we have multiple Trading partners assigned to same company code. How Should we manage this scenario, as in consolidation structure we can have only one trading partner for cons unit. Can we have Company code as a consolidation unit? If it’s possible then what should be the changes required from system point of view?

Below is the example and normally in consolidation system is picking trading partner from Table T880.

Company Code (T001)Trading Partner (T880)USXXDXX10USXXDXX20USXXDXX30USXXDXX40

I have the same question. Acdoca trading partner is one field that is longer and contains (potentially) a set of codes that differs from Company codes. E very Times trading partner is filled also field partner company code is filled. Have a 1:n relationship between company code and business partner means that in the business partner you Need to map for example busienss in order to derive in postings also the profit center partner (or segment).

The question is: acdocu consolidation unit is acdoca company code, partner consolidation Unit I would expect partner company code, profit center is 1:1, partner profit center is 1:1.

Or the internal mapping that Group reporting apply is different?

Hi Parag,

Your question is very confusing. This is how it works

1) FI postings ( data in ACDOCA ) can have multiple Trading partners for a Company code. There are multiple ways to derive trading partners while posting a FI document for e.g. you can derive it from BP.

2) For consolidations in GR, you have a process called "Release data from universal Journal" which reads data from ACDOCA and posts data into ACDOCU. During this process, Company Code will be mapped to "Consolidation Unit" and Trading partner will be mapped to "Partner Unit".

Cheers...Ashok
