Where can we find more information related to configuring and setting up the Schedule Production app. We would like to use capacity planning app (monitor workcenter capacity) and can't find clear directions on using the app. 

Appreciate if we can get some guidance on that

Note: We are in discrete manufacturing business

I did research these links . Unfortunately it doesn't provide insights into the specific data or specific config required to get this to work. Most of them highlights the functionality it delivers. Couldn't find a scope item document around this.

Thanks for your note.I had downloaded this and followed the exact steps . The data shows up in Manage workcenter capacity but doesn't come up in schedule production app. I have logged a ticket with SAP and it is with development for last 3 weeks. Hopefully we can find a breakthrough.

Hi Puru,

Do you have the bottleneck workcenter informed in the production version? in manage prod version app you need to inform for each production version the workcenter considered the bottleneck , and only if this field is informed the prod order or the planned order will be displayed in the Schedule Production app.

It happened to me the fist time I tried to work with the schedule prod app.

Yes we maintained that . Did you maintain the workcenter category 007 for that set up ? We had used the default out of the box and didn't have 007 type in the config. I am suspecting that is the case but waiting on SAP Dev to confirm.

Thanks for the confirmation on workcenter category and we had modelled with the exact setting. Yes that field is checked and it is a prerequisite for Manage Workcenter capacity app and that app is working as intended. Anyway let me wait to hear from Development on their findings.

No, I didn't. I'm using workcenter category 0001 (Machine). And the checkbox "relevant for finite scheduling" is active for the capacity category 001 created in tab "Capacities".
