Safety Stock calculation

Hi gurus, I am working on ECC with process industry. We are trying to implement Service level % . As I did some research I found there are some pre-requirements to be maintained

• MRP Type : VM-Automatic Re-order point or VV -Forecast Base Planning
• Lot Size : EX

And I also found I need to maintain Coverage Profile for Dynamic MRP.

Now, my questions are as follows:

1. Can we Consider Service Level % as dynamic MRP?
2. We do not have WM so can we use IM for Service Level%
3. Do we need to maintain Coverage Profile for Service Level %, if so please explain

Please help me on this, one more request please provide an example if you can.
