S4 HANA Product Allocation with Advance ATP : Open requirements and supported user exits

Hi Experts,

I wanted to seek expert inputs for Product Allocation with Advance ATP functionality around the following:

a. If a customer order exceeds the allowed allocation quantity, the system will reduce the amount of confirmed stocks for the line item. However, the MRP element transferred still holds the customer's original order quantity. ( entry in VBBE). This gives an incorrect requirement back to MRP since the balance customer order quantity cannot be fulfilled. One way is to ensure that the "Fix date / qty" field is updated when allocation reduces the confirmation on the line, but that is an enhancement. How has this been addressed?

b. ECC had user exits ( e.g. FV45VFZY_USEREXIT_QUOTA_KEY_VA or EXIT_SAPLQUOT_003 / EXIT_SAPLQUOT_005 ) that could be leveraged to enhance the product allocation logic. Are these still supported with Advance ATP ?

Hi Rohit,

meanwhile Advanced ATP offer a set of extensibility options. Especially in the area of Product Allocation multiple BAdIs are available, see here.

An automatism to set FIXMG flag in case of PAL constraints is not available. However, there is customizing to handle FIXMG flag by default per sales area.
