Delivery date and goods issue date anomaly

I am seeing issue in client site where when an order is entered for customer with a delivery date in December 2010 the goods issue date and loading are all correct. Soon as I put a delivery date after Jan 6, 2011 all the dates become the same. For example I enter Jan 29, 2011 as delivery all the goods issue, loading etc become Jan 29, 2011. Is there some config issue somewhere causing this issue.

Hi,

I will explain issue further as I have not done so. When entering a order for a customer with material 123 with delivery date of 31.12.2010 I see this in system for confirmed schedule line which is correct based on routing and ship pt.

Delivery Date 31.12.2010

Goods Issue 24.12.2010

Loading 23.12.2010

Soon as I change delivery date to 14.01.2011 I see this in sytem which is incorrect based on our routing and ship pt.

Delivery Date 14.01.2011

Goods Issue 14.01.2011

Loading 14.01.2011

I am not able to determine why this behaviour is happening.

Harvinder,

I will assume for the moment that for these defective orders, the sales order is still determining the proper shipping point and the proper routes. Please confirm.

If SPs and Routes are being determined, a possible reason for the improper scheduling of the dates is an issue with the factory calendar assigned to the SP's and Rte's.

You can review which factory calendars for Shipping Points in 0VLZ (thats a zero, not an "O").

You can review which Factory calendars for Routes in 0VTC.

Once you know which calendars are being used, you can review them in SCAL. These calendars must be extended through the period being scheduled at a minimum, better still to have them extended at least through 2011.

Let me know what you find.

As mentioned by DB49, you need to configure the factory calenders for year 2011.

You may be interested in OSS Note 1529649 - Factory Calendar expires 2010.

Normally the factory calender extensions are carried out in year end activities by basis team.

hi

you can also chec DELIVERY SCHEDULING & TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING in SPRO.

basing on this only the Loading Dates - Pic Pac time - TPP Time - in addation to this it also checs whether it also depends on ROUTE also whether the above is dependent on route or not.

if dependent A - route dependent will be there.

hope this clears this issue

Please check Shipping Point "Determine Loading Time is assigned C >Default from Shipping point or A>Route Dependanc.

Acccrodingly it will show pick/pack, loading time in delivery. These ar major settings.

Also check factory calendar SCAL and see if there are any holidays assigned so it may not be showing dates as you expect. Please write resolution if you have achieved.

hi harvinder

this is all happening because

when you entered the customer and material in sales order the system automatically prompts the delivery date of the material.

because in SPRO there is a setting called - DELIVERY SCHEDULING AND TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING. with the help of factory calendar or shipping point calendar.

in the same process it has shown these dates and these dates might be the tentative because material may not be available at that time & as soon as you changed the delivery date in the system manually again system will do RE ATP and would have given confirmed date as 14.01.2001 & basing on the confirmed date every date follows.

this is standard behaviour of the system.
