As you might be knowing LF report is not cost oriented but payables and receivables based. Assuming that you need to see the payables ( to connect with cost as per your query) according to certain nature of expenses, "Planning Groups" could be defined and assigned to reflect that. OT13
But for this reason Accounts Payable report showing "due dates forecast" is more suitable.
Reading LF report to see costs: this can be done only by drill down by going into open invoice levels. You cannot get this view at the summary levels . At this level only Planning Group / Planning Level display.
