Asset retirement with statistical internal order

Hi,

I was able to configure assets (not AUC) with statistical internal orders.  All process steps from acquisition to depreciation works well. Except for retirements.  When I retire an asset with statistical internal order via ABAVN, the credit side (75) shows the internal order.  But in the debit side, the internal order number is blank.  Hence, when I run the internal order report, it results in a negative actual value.    Please can somebody point me to the right direction on how to resolve this?   We are in ECC6.

Hello,

Are you sure the account posted with debit is created as cost element ? If it is a balance sheet account then it has to be created as cost element of category 90.

Thanks Thomas!  Problem solved.  I have only created the acquisition GL accounts as cost elements not the accumulated deprecation.
