Add-on installation in SAP B1 with multiple database servers

I have an SAP B1 installation with several database servers and when I change servers I get the following error "This Add-on cannot be upgraded. AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file does not match data in the common database for this add-on. See SAP Note 1323680 for more information."

The note does not explain anything and is included as solved in version 9.3 PL04

Can anyone help me?

Hi,

AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file holds the information from SBO-COMMON database (registered for the SBO company) and the locally installed status. Since different servers hold different informations, the only option is to clean the add-on installations before switching to different server.

1. Uninstall the installed add-ons.

2. Move the AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo and AddOnsInstall.sbo file to a different location.

On log in to the second server, the above files are registered automatically and will the install the relevant add-ons.

Please note that, even you have the same add-ons at both the servers, the above process is mandatory.
