Outbound delivery is on backorder (check shipping deadline)

Hi, Gurus

I have a problem with delivery note.

In sales order I have two item lines

Item 10 Normal sales order material item catecory TAN

I have split this line in scheduled lines tap.

Okei

Item 20 I have material (not batch managed) item catecory TAW

When I create delivery (VL01N) note item 10 works fine and I can make several delivery notes.

But item 20 allows me to do only one delivery note.

If I try to create another one system gives an error "Outbound delivery is on backorder (check shipping deadline)"

If I split this material system gives a same error.

It looks you can't do partial deliveries for value item. Check OSS Note 78285 - Delivery status of value items or text items

Hi,

I find a way how to solve this problem.

I need to change Item catecory TAW to TAX (Item category group DIEN)

Then this works as I hope.

Check the Schedule Line Category getting determined for Item Cat TAW (Value Item).

Generally, as per standard, Sched.line cat. determines for TAW is CX-No inventory mgmt.

Which is not relevant for ATP or TOR and goods movement.
