Multiple E1EDKA1 segements - alphabetical order?

Hi,

in our EDI processes we have a clearing center which does all the mapping and routing for us. We're currently setting up a new connection and I'm experiencing some issues when receiving ORDERS and ORDCHG. When receiving ORDERS, everything is fine and a sales order is created. However, when receiving ORDCHG for this order, SAP fails to determine the correct VKORG, VWEG and SPART.

This seemed strange to me, because both IDocs were containing the same content in segment E1EDKA1 (which is the source for determining VKORG, VWEG, SPART). Then I noticed, that the different E1EDAK1 segments were not in alphabetical order:

After debugging the corresponding function module and changing the segements in WE19 to alphabetical order (AG, LF, WE), the ORDCHG was booked without any problems, which leads me to my question:

Does the order or sequence of the E1EDKA1 segments really matter? What is the standard SAP sequence?
