Issue with the Length of Characters in CT04 characteristic creation

post SAP EHS activation in the system, the Characteristic length in the system was automatically reset to 30 from 40 for the 'Char' type of characteristics. Due to this in the development system all the description having length more than 30 has been tripped to 30 and its not incomplete

We have added a new Characteristic and will be adding remaining 10 characters into this additional Characteristic...Can anyone suggest any better option that can be implemented

Example

in CL20N the description of Characteristic ' Name' before activation of EHS was say SAPEHSIMPLEMENTATION but after implementation it has come to SAPEHSIMP where total length is 30.

Hello Parasoon AK, Thanks for the reply but the first note is not relevant as its related to the search terms and in the second note it is clearly written that the note does not support the E&HS specifically hence we will not be able to use these to resolve the issue. Please let me know in case you have any additional thoughts on this.
