Intelligent product proposal Functionality - Adjustment

Dear Team,

I would like to understand is there any way we can set the parameter in the Intelligent product proposal Functionality in S/4 Hana public cloud. It proposes the products based on the History, Listed Materials, CMIR etc. but does it possible to set a range on picking the products based on History of sales data (Ex-Last 6 months order history)? Can we control something similar in public cloud?

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud's Intelligent Product Proposal functionality, while the system inherently uses historical sales data, listed materials, and customer-material info records (CMIR) to generate proposals, there isn't a direct parameter setting feature to specify an explicit range (like the last 6 months) for history data within the standard interface.

However, you can exert some level of control by adjusting the background and online procedure determinations. This can possibly be done using the Business Add-In (BAdI) Calculation of Intelligent Product Proposals (SD_DPP_PROPOSAL_CALCULATION), which allows you to adjust the proposal results. This BAdI may enable you to implement custom logic that could consider only recent sales history if you have the technical capability to develop this solution.

Additionally, ensure that background processing for the intelligent product proposal is scheduled, and that you have defined customers for whom you want proposals, as these configurations may impact the data analysis scope indirectly.
