Inactive condition type in PO (Inactive because of subsequent price) ?

Hi all,

I am creating an Import PO, the pricing procedure is determined properly. the condition types are having values.

But, the condition types are inactive. (having that yellow indicator)

when I check the details of the condition in the PO, in the control data, there is a last field:

Inactive : Y - Inactive because of subsequent price.

now, i want to understand what does this mean ? and what could have caused this ?

because of this, the freight & other condition types are not hitting the respective GL's.

In the same PO, if i change the vendor to a local vendor, then condition types are active.

please help to identify & resolve the issue.

Check if there exclusion indicators and exclusion groups are mainted for these condition types and these exlusion groups are assinged to the particluar calculation schema for which you get this error .

As you change the vendor , the schema would have got changed which doesn't have the exclusion group assigned to it.
