How to define foreign trading partner on BP master?

Hello Experts,

My customer has a lot of trading partners in other countries around the world but not the all countries activated yet because he doesn't have legal entities in the countries.

In such case, how to define trading partner on BP master?

We are thinking we have to activate all countries that foreign trading partners exist.

But we don't need the new company code because we don't have legal entities in the new country.

Is this possible to add new country without a company code creation?

You need to contact your product expert to get additional support via impediments in the creation of trading partners in countries not activated in the system .

I contacted my PE and he found same impediment posted before, so he created a child impediment of it.

Trading partners were created as we requested.

The search ID is retrieving the Company name (not the Company code). This should be correct as Trading Partners are first defined as Company and then this Company ID is maintained in relevant master data as Trading partner.
