Hi,
We are trying to update Pricing date at header level but it is not gettting copied to item level.
getting an message "The header business data does not apply to item xxxx"
i have checked the item category and "business item" field is checked. and for the same sales order previously we were able to change the pricing date at header level and it got applied to item level but this time is is not getting applied.
kindly suggest.
Hi Lakshmipathi,
I have checked the mentioned SAP note and the correction instruction, they are already applied in our system, we are on ECC 6.0.
but when we change the pricing date for other sales order where multiple line items are there it is working perfectly fine. but only for this Sales order it is giving this error.
thanks,

If you want the Header business data has to be copied to the item--then
you should not activate the business item at VOV7.....
(activation of this flag allows user to change the business data at item level)
The problem you are facing in current sales order due to activation of this flag only.
the other sales orders where the problem not found--has been created when this flag in Deactivated status.
So please find and Update.

If there are multiple line items which are having different data; in your case, Pricing Date, then in that case, when you try to change at header level, system will pop up this message.

Hi,
It seems to be some mismatch between header and item business data.
Is it happening for all the sales order or for a particular one.
Can you try to create a new one and check the result.
Please provide the error msg no, if possible, with screen shot.
Thanks,
