Develop BOM query report using API

Hello Experts, 

    We use API_BILL_OF_MATERIAL_SRV_0002 to develop BOM query report. We find that we must input "BillOfMaterial" (bomid) .But where will we know the ID when querying? We hope to query by material number.We also couldn't find an API to query bomid by material number.
