Business area in FB01

Hi all,

I am trying to post document in fb01 using bdc through my report. I have a requirement to split the line items on the basis of cost center, while doing so.. according to the cost centre the business area also changes.

so, while posting the document, I am getting an error of 'Business area mismatch in document line items'.
I am not getting why this error is occuring or anything related to it?

Please note I changed the tag to Finance

Please be careful when selecting tags in the future.

As for mismatch, could the cost center master record have a different business area than what you are trying to enter in FB01?
