BP Master Data - 'ID No. 2' field is not editable for a specific user

Hi, 

The issue happen to this specific user, the user  has full authorization for business partner master data, however, the field ‘Company Reg No’ (original name of this field is 'ID No. 2') is not editable. This happen to all BP types, whether is Add or Update mode. There is no UI configuration in the BP master data.

I have tried login using this affected user, go to edit UI configuration, and tried 'Restore Default' UI, but no help.

Any idea?

This is a functionality descibed in SAP Note 2399156 https://me.sap.com/notes/2399156

  1. Go to Administration → System Initialization → Authorizations →  General Authorizations
  2. Select the relevant user and under General → Access to Masked Data, select Full Authorization to authorization BP ID No. 2.
