GUIXT script to log into SAP (option for multiple clients as well!)

Hi All,

Attached is the script that I wrote to allow auto login into various SAP clients by simply clicking on the system from SAP logon pad.

Prerequisites:

GUIXT must be activated

guixt.sjs config file must have a location pointed to a folder on your local PC

Overview:

• For SAP systems that have only 1 client
  • Double clicking the system in SAP logon pad will log you into the system skipping the login screen
• For SAP systems with multiple clients
  • Double clicking the system will take you to the login screen where you can click on the Client push button to continue login

Additional Notes:

- Save the attached text file as elogon.sjs to where the scripts are located on your PC. (Check GUIXT.sjs file for script location on your local PC)

- User name and passwords are maintained in the elogon.sjs file... so make sure you understand the security risks!

Once you have saved the file please edit as needed to update your systems and clients (also your user id and passwords), you will need basic scripting skills to update this file!

Hi RaJiTh,

Does your company use GUIXT scripts for other transactions? If Yes then copy the files attached to the folder where the GUIXT scripts are stored and all you have to do is edit the elogon.sjs file with user id and password info.

I have changed the appropriate details in the elogon file but i didnt find the guixt.sjs file to find the script location. so can you please tell me the exact location to save the elogon.sjs file.

Hi Raju,

Do you have GUIXT installed? The default location for GUIXT.SJS file is C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui

Also you will have to edit your sjs file so it can point to the location where you have your scripts saved (eg: C:\scripts folder).

I able to see only two files( guixt.dll and guixt.exe) in the C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui and i didnt find GUXT.sjs file.

The guixt installation is default from SAP right ? should i need to install any other to get GUIXT.sjs?

GUIXT is an addon software that comes pre bundled with SAPGUI software. In order to use GUIXT you will need to purchase user licenses from Synactive.

Once you purchase the licenses, Syncative will provide you with the necessary files including SJS file.
