Hi
Other consideration is in what professional context (type of professionals) he feels more comfortable, with quality people (ISO 9001), people who manages ISO14001, with finance people or human resources people. Where does he feel he has real chances? Is he looking for challenges? He is your friend, made the right questions and he will find the proper answers. If he is boring about some topics, it would be a good idea explore new opportunities thanks to his knowledge and prior experience.
I hope this helps you

Eduardo

Hi Ramesh,
He was background of HR and FI, so he can choose any one of these in sap.
SAP HR and FI both ae applicable to him..
If he is very good at finance basic concept, i would suggest him go for FI.
Thanks

Hi Ramesh,
If you search on scn or google. you will get more than required info.
For ex: below link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/b7/c447ed9d5411d189b60000e829fbbd/content.htm
at time if he takes whole info, its not good to read all. need start with basic concepts of hr.
once he is faimiliar with basic cocnepts then he can go deeper into the specific contents.
Thanks

Hi Ramesh,
Having MBA in HR and Finance is a very good qualification. Ask him to complete the PMP certification as well.
With that he can get into SAP by choosing FI and working as consultant for two years and get into the Project management.

Venkat

Hi Ramesh, I sent you the link in email (as posting an external url in scn may not be allowed as rule)

Hello Ramesh,
1st ask him about his interest. It’s not like 'he completed MBA Fin & HR so he has to select only Finance/HR'. Based on his personal interest he can choose any module like HR/FICO/ABAP......etc.
Coming to the Employer point of view, they will check your knowledge on SAP module and they need Master degree that’s it. They are not bothered about your stream and all............
So, 1st let him decide buddy....... All the best….

Srinivas

Hello
I think FICO is a good choice for him, but for making a final choice, which module he has the real passion is a much more important question for him.
