Personas 2.0 VA41contract

Hello,
I am trying to simplify VA41 (Contracts) but i am having trouble at the line item level. When merging tabs and hiding fields, the conditions tab does not function, it does not take the data i input (unit price, discounts, etc) and it wont let me know forward to another tab, it continues to think and i end up having to log off in order to exit VA41.
Is there something that needs to be done before working with VA41 or any other sales tcode?
