Hello,
Can somebody please explain to my query
While upgrading database,
Can we execute root.sh with orasid. orasid has permission to execute.
Or is it mandatory to execute root.sh as root user.Thanks.

it´s mandatory to use root since only root can change ownerships of files, that do not belong to it (that´s why the script is called ´root.sh´).
