SAP Community - Where are you from?

SAP Community keeps growing and growing and I am super excited for this Welcome Corner as it gives the chance for not only new members but everyone to get to know one another and connect with each other.

As my colleague @KatherineKenneally gives an overall introduction to the Group and what you can expect from it in her blog post, I’d like to take the opportunity to start a discussion about the different locations represented in our global SAP Community. I am interested to read where you are located and where SAP Community is spread around the world.

I am from Germany and currently living in Wiesbaden, which is the capital of one of the sixteen German states located in the west. After years of studies and living in different places, my hometown has caught me again with its charm and the closeness to friends and family has won me over.

But now I am curious, where are you tuning in from?

Hellooo everyone.
I am Apoorva joining the Community from India. I work from the Bangalore office. Currently, I live at around 160 km distance from office in a calm, peaceful city called Mysore. Mysore is the Cultural Capital of Karnataka state and has 7 palaces, a few beautiful lakes and a number of museums and cultural monuments. 🙂

I am Nanette Baber from Sydney, Australia!

I also moved around.

I was born in Manila, Philippines. Moved to Cairns, Queensland Australia in my early 20's. Then to the "big smoke" Sydney.

I got married so I moved to Wellington, New Zealand.

My situation changed again so I moved to Melbourne, Australia.

My daughter moved to a university in Sydney so I am back in Sydney after all that. 🙂

I just moved to Seckenheim (which is still Mannheim, but not really..). Was living in Edingen before, so the move was rather short!
Yah, I'm also mostly in homeoffice, but at least we now get back to office once a week, which is a start!

There is actually no real difference to Edingen 🙂 Actually, I grew up in Wiesloch and then went back and forth between HD and MA. Never thought that would happen...
Which part of MA do you live in? 
Yes, the team is in WDF, so it is really great to get together and meet in person again!!!

I moved 6 times, between Neckarstadt-East/Neckarstadt-West and Jungbusch 🙂
