If you like, you might consider to add a profile photo to your profile? That would be one tip from my side for getting started. Optional but very beneficial.
You can do this by clicking on the avatar on the top-right and editing your photo in "My profile".
Another tip would be to add a little bit about you, perhaps your role, company (if relevant) - you could do this by accessing: "My settings" -> "Personal Information" -> "Biography" - again by clicking on the avatar on the top-right.
