WebDynpro LinkToUrl Example

I am WebDynpro beginner and apologies in advance for my simple question.

Please can someone give me an example of how to use LinkToUrl property in a WD to call a website.

I have created a LinkToUrl object in the Rootuielementcontainer but I have no idea how to link this to a URL. In context I have created a URL attribute, and I have created a binding in the "reference" field. But I have no idea how to fill this i.e. in which method and how to code this.

If I could see a sap demo example or something this would be a great help.

As a starter you can go through this tutorial: Web Dynpro for ABAP: Tutorials for Beginners

It explains you the basic concepts and development steps of a WD Application. You will also understand how to write a method to trigger the context node.
