Hi Gurus,

I am using the tables RBTX and VBAK. I want to create a view of these tables and the create a Generic DataSource.

I have created a view but when I Create a DataSource it gives an error:

<b>Invalid extract structure template ZZINVTAX of DataSource ZZTAXTRAN

Message no. R8359

Diagnosis

You tried to generate an extract structure with the template structure ZZINVTAX. This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field HWSTE refer to a different table.

Procedure

Use the template structure to create a view or DDIC structure that does not contain the inadmissable fields.</b>

Please help me understand the error and also please suggest me the correction.

hi,

You need to have to include all your reference tables for unit of measure and currency and qty fields in your view which you want to do your DS.

Generally in naming convension prefix of zz is used in fields enhancement in the said structures or that case any other structures. Please change the naming convensions & try again.
