SPROXY and username/password

When I run transaction SPROXY I have to enter the username/passowrd for the integration engine every time. And also everytime I expand a node in the left hand pane.

I have created an RFC connection using username/password (basic authentication) and I use this (dest://<destination>) in the integration engine configuration.

Why does the system prompt for password anyway? Is there away around this?

Hi Asbjorn

There is a table called SPROXSET, where you set the userid and password details. Check with your basis guys but.

I am the basis guy....

The table SPROXSET is not mentioned at help.sap.com at all, and only in one note where they use it to set HTTP_COMPRESSION to OFF.

There's no maintenance view for the table.

What syntax are you supposed to use? The table only has two fields. Looks like a pramter name (i.e. HTTP_COMPRESSION) and value.

But why is not the exchange profile used for username/password? I have maintained the parameters there, and it finds the server name/url there without problems.

Also: Are SPROXSET used for XI2.0???

I have put in the parameters, but I am still being asked for username/password when running SPROXY

Not really sure about why it works that way. Will try to find out but.
