RSA 1 is the transaction code for Adiministrator Workbench in SAP BW.

The Administrator Workbench for SAP BW (transaction RSA1), abbreviated as AWB is the main tool for tasks in the data warehousing process. It provides data modeling functions as well as functions for control, monitoring and maintenance of all processes in SAP BW having to do with data procurement, data retention, and data processing.

Hi Karthick,

RSA1 is the Admininstrative workbench, as an BW administrator you could do almost everything that you might need to do from here.

There may be cases in projects where some person may be just required to be given access to work on InfoObjects and not allowed access to the other areas, in that case the person would just be given access to RSD1 and not RSA1. I hope it makes sense, why give BW administrative access when not needed as part of the work.
