SAP HANA Rep task - structure change in source table without Reconcile option

Hi Experts, 

When we have a change to source table structure, we usually have to use the Reconcile Changes option in the rep task. Otherwise, the replication breaks. 

In replication behavior options, I do find the option - initial + realtime with structure. 

Does it help in accommodating structure changes in the rep task?

As I know, the "initial + realtime with structure" option in replication doesn't handle structure changes during a replication task. It's meant for initial data load and real-time updates. For handling structure changes, like adding or removing columns in the source table, you can possibly use the "Reconcile Changes" option. Without it, the replication task might fail and needing manual adjustments. HANA Artefacts HDI Reptask refers to SAP HANA tools for setting up and managing replication tasks.
