ODS Error

Hi There,

I have a partitioned ODS (ZCON_SIE). I modified it by adding 3 more fields and deleting one field.

I am having a problem activating it. Please see error message below.

Table /BIC/AZCON_SIE00 (Error Adjusting Database)

Table /BIC/AZCON_SIE00 was not activated.

Can you please provide a direction how to proceed and

correct this error? There is limited documentation and

notes on partitioned ODS.

Hi Nantha,

If the data in ODS is not relevant anymore, the simpliest way to do this is to <b>DELETE</b> the contents of the ODS and re-activate it again.

This error occurs when you change a table structure with data currently present in it.

Hi Kumar,

Go To SE14, and fill "/BIC/AZCON_SIE00" in the object name, choose dictionary object "tables" and Edit -->In the next screen, click on activate and adjust database (processing type: direct, with save data option. Hopefully it should solve it.

Hi Kumar,

Sree's description is correct (adjusting the tables by transaction SE14), but you might face some errors after transporting the object. If possible don't delete a field or put the deleted field back into your ods description.
