MASS Prepare and Start is not working in LVM 2.1 SP08

Hello All,

We are unable to mass start the systems through LVM 2.1 SP08, where as the mass stop is working fine.

Before the Mass Stop/Start, we validated all the systems, no errors, but start is failing with the below error.

found with the following issue - UNKNOWN. Hence the operation on instance with current status - 'Unknown' was skipped.

Other than the above error, we dont see any additional logs.

Could you someone please share your thoughts why mass start is not working.

Dear Srihari Teella,

check the LVM Support Info (SAP KBA 1898532) and once generated, the ErrorLog inside for more details.
For the affected instance(s), check the underlying hosts in LVM for any warnings, errors etc.

Sometimes, the error is caused by an invalid instance of a system and must be investigated individually.
